We pray for all our brothers, sisters, and the children around the world for justice and peace.
Here are some our commitments that os taking us to new frontiers, while others show our continued and extensive support towards our longer running programmes.
We will be covering a range of geographical and thematic issues from Asia, to the Pacific, Africa, and the Americas and from climate change, to the exploitation of natural resources, indigenous peoples rights to women’s and children’s rights.

Environmental and Climate Justice
The Delegation chooses primary focus countries to assist the local Dominicans and their partners in addressing key issues in the areas of justice and peace. It seeks to promote initiatives and to engage in capacity building that will deepen their involvement and enable their actions to have greater and more concrete repercussions in the long-run. Seeking to achieve tangible results, the Delegation aligns its actions and priorities with the needs of its local counterparts on the ground.
In a nutshell, the main objectives of the work of the Delegation in the primary focus countries are to ensure that:
- there is a strong, coordinated and structured involvement of Dominicans and their partners on the ground in justice and peace issues;
- the concerns on the ground are heard and considered at the UN;
- those involved are recognised locally and internationally as key actors in the promotion and protection of human rights.
