When an emergency situation requiring international attention arises, the Delegation endeavours to give it the necessary visibility. It thus hopes to provide the international community with reliable information coming from the ground, to strengthen the work of credible local leaders in addressing the root causes of the crisis and to promote peacebuilding efforts.
